Appeal after sexual touching, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man following reports of a sexual touching incident earlier this year.

Shortly after 10.30am on Thursday 4 June 2020, a 26-year-old woman boarded a bus at Mt Druitt Railway Station when an unknown man sat behind her.

Police have been told the man sexually touched her during the journey between the station and Plumpton.

The woman confronted the man before leaving the bus a short time later and notifying police.

Officers from the Police Transport Command commenced an investigation and have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged in his 30s, of a large build, with black hair and a moustache.

At the time, he was wearing an orange high-visibility jumper, navy trousers and brown shoes.
