Chair of the Communities Committee, Councillor Dino Zappacosta said it was good to support these worthwhile projects.

“The Community Grants Program is an important part of Council’s ongoing commitment to help in the development of new projects and the positive impact they will have for many in the community,” said Councillor Zappacosta.

The Community Grant Program enables a whole range of activities to be carried out and these are a good representation of projects assisting a diverse user group.

“Without this funding these organisations would not be able to deliver their service, project or event,” he added.
