A woman was arrested after a serious domestic assault at Lightsview this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to a Lightsview address just after 4am today (Saturday 24 July). A man at the house had sustained a stab wound to his back. He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
A 22-year-old woman at the address was arrested in relation to the stabbing. She has been charged with aggravated commit assault that causes harm and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
Police would like to remind anyone who is experiencing domestic violence that you can seek assistance at any time. The current Stay at Home order includes the provisions to leave the home in an emergency and to flee domestic violence.
Police encourage anyone experiencing domestic violence to contact them immediately for assistance.
