How PayPal is doing good for the month of July.
Cancer Council seeks to partner with businesses that are like minded, and share their vision of a cancer free future, so we are excited that for the month of July, Cancer Council is partnering with PayPal Giving Fund. Through their Give at Checkout program, shoppers can support Cancer Council with a $1 donation every time they check out with PayPal.
Where does your donation go?
By donating to Cancer Council at check out during July, shoppers can help fund Cancer Council’s cancer research, support, advocacy and prevention programs. These donations will help fund vital services such as the 13 11 20 Information and Support Line.
Our 13 11 20 Information and Support line is a confidential telephone service open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and is open to anyone living with cancer, their families, carers and friends, and the general public. With 1 in 2 Australians impacted by cancer, this service is so vital to so many people in the community.
Bridget, who is a cervical cancer survivor says “I reached out and the health care professional who took my call listened to my concerns and navigated me to supportive care services like counselling which helped me cope.”
How to support Cancer Council this July
The ‘Give at Checkout Program’, makes it easy to support Cancer Council, all individuals need to do is set Cancer Council as a favourite charity, so when they check out with PayPal, they are given the option to donate to Cancer Council.
To do this, go to Cancer Council’s page and click “Set as favourite charity”. Donors can log in to their account with PayPal and complete the process. Our thanks to PayPal for partnering with Cancer Council this July.
