The Tasmanian Government is a strong supporter of our Tasmanian artists and with the fifth Ashes Test starting today in Hobart, we will see an outstanding line-up of Tasmanian talent performing over the coming days.
Hobart based Luca Brasi will perform on day one to a packed house of cricket fans at Blundstone Arena.
Since forming in 2009, the band has released five albums to much acclaim, including their most recent album that peaked at number 7 on the ARIA top 50 Album Chart.
The Wolfe Brothers will be playing on day two and are a well-known Tasmanian based country rock band who won a host of awards at the 2019 Country Music Awards of Australia, including Album Of The Year, Contemporary Country Album of the Year, and APRA AMCOS Song of the Year.
Additionally, singer songwriter Ange Boxall, who hails from the East Coast of Tasmania, will perform on day 3, rounding out a fantastic few days of Tasmanian entertainment.
I have no doubt Tasmanian audiences will both enjoy and feel very proud of this Tasmanian line up of local talent to be showcased nationally and internationally.
