National Roll-out of Compare Club Business – childcarecomparison.com.au
Compare Club is delighted to announce the national roll-out of its new Childcare Comparison business – childcarecomparison.com.au.
Since launching childcarecomparison.com.au in November 2019, Childcare Comparison has helped thousands of parents in New South Wales and Victoria by matching them with suitable childcare. From March, childcarecomparison.com.au will expand its operations to support parents nationally and in 2020 expects to assist 50,000 families find places in hundreds of childcare centres throughout Australia.
During the 2018-19 financial year, more than 1.6 million children attended approved childcare and were eligible for the Child Care Subsidy. This number is expected to rise. The number of parents sending their children to childcare has risen each year for the past 20 years.
Childcare Comparison helps parents find what’s important to them in a childcare centre, including accreditation ratings, education styles, carer to child ratios, opening hours, and whether they want care close to home or work.
The response from both parents and the centres has been extremely positive, according to CEO Andrew Davis. “Centres love being able to interview parents they otherwise wouldn’t have reached. Parents find it helpful to discuss their needs with an independent childcare consultant who can arrange for them to visit and assess one, two or three centres that meet their particular needs.”
In Australia, there is an oversupply of childcare facilities, meaning some centres struggle to bring in the number of children they need to operate efficiently and at a profit. Childcare Comparison helps centres to bring in new children, without centres having to outlay a single dollar until a child is enrolled.
Parents love to compare and be able to speak to someone who can give them guidance on what can otherwise be a difficult decision. Childcare Comparison fulfils this desire and creates opportunities for childcare centres to attract more customers.
Childcare Comparison will expand Nationwide in 2020 and expects to assist 50,000 families.
