Police responding to serious traffic crash at Plainlands

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious, single vehicle crash at Plainlands this afternoon that left a 34-year-old Harristown woman with critical injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash that occurred on the Warrego Highway around 2pm, when the women’s white Mitsubishi Triton utility rolled, injuring both women on board.

The 34-year-old driver was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition while the critically injured passenger was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Woman’s Hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle in the area at the time, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, to contact them.
