A digital futurist, human communications expert and the Royal Australian Navy’s first female pilot are headlining this year’s program at the Work Well Conference 2023.
Returning to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre this October, the Work Well Conference promises connection and collaboration, with attendees to hear about leading ideas and practical approaches to fortify health, safety and wellbeing at their workplace.
Topics will span industry’s biggest issues and spotlight areas including artificial intelligence in safety, systems thinking, critical conversation management, psychosocial risks, good work design and safety capability.
Among the host of high-profile speakers are AI expert – Dr Mark Van Rijmenam, Australia’s first female naval helicopter pilot – Natalee Johnston and human communications expert – Anneli Blundell, who will be leading a session on mastering the art of difficult conversations.
The Work Well Conference is taking place during Safe Work Month, held nationally each year in October.
The month-long event calendar also includes regional information sessions and the livestreamed Work Well Speaker Series.
Deputy Director-General for the Office of Industrial Relations, Peter McKay, praised Safe Work Month activities for highlighting the importance of work health and safety – not just during October, but year round.
