Stolen car charges in Alexandra Hills, QLD

Police have charged four juveniles following an allegedly stolen car crash in Alexandra Hills yesterday morning, October 28.

Officers observed the allegedly stolen vehicle in the vicinity of Finucane Road and Allenby Road around 9am.

Police approached the vehicle when it was stopped in traffic at Finucane Road near the intersection of Cambridge Drive a short time later.

It will then be alleged the stolen vehicle attempted to evade police by ramming the vehicles in front of it and behind it.

It then also allegedly rammed the police car as it pulled in front of the stolen vehicle.

Two officers were inside the police vehicle at the time but were not injured.

Police took four teenagers into custody.

A 13-year-old Pacific Pines girl, a 14-year-old Eagleby girl, a 13-year-old Upper Coomera boy and a 12-year-old Coomera boy have each been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling and commit and wilful damage of police property, as well as three counts of wilful damage.

All four have been denied police bail and are expected to appear at Cleveland Children’s Court tomorrow, October 30.
