Lithgow Council
Council advises residents of the temporary closure of the Old Bathurst Road Bowenfels at the Magpie Hollow Road access entry, commencing immediately.
The temporary road closure will be in place to allow for urgent repairs due to a landslip after the rain event which occurred last night. These works have been identified as a priority to ensure the safety of residents and future visitors of the area.
While works progress, access will remain for residents only from the Great Western Highway entry. The patience of the affected residents is appreciated, and Council advises that traffic conditions must be observed by residents travelling through the area.
