A woman has been charged after an allegedly stolen car was followed from Springvale to Melvern East this morning.
Officers observed a stolen white Kia driving in the vicinity of Springvale Junction about 4.10am.
The car was followed to Warrigal Road and into a shopping centre carpark in Malvern East.
The vehicle was allegedly dumped in the carpark and arrested a 22-year-old woman from South Melbourne nearby.
She has been interviewed, charged with theft of motor vehicle, and has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court in October.
