Police bail was refused and he is due to appear in Alice Springs Local Court today.

A fourth Alice Springs driver returned a positive reading of 0.063 and was issued with a traffic infringement notice.

Senior Sergeant Angela Stringer said the Road Policing Unit are disgusted at the blatant disregard some motorists are having towards drink driving.

“A licence to drive a car is a privilege and if you are not going to treat it seriously you don’t deserve to have one.

“Drink driving kills people. It’s as simple as that.”
