Two inspirational women and an innovative Territory business have been named the big winners at the 2022 Study NT Awards for International Students.
Thi Tho (Rosie) Nguyen from Vietnam is the 2022 Study NT International Student of the Year in recognition of her efforts as a student ambassador holding multiple organising and office bearer positions with groups associated with her university CDU.
Yuqing ‘Crystal’ Zhao from China has been named the 2022 Study NT International Student Volunteer of the Year for her volunteer work with Kindness Shake.
The 2022 Study NT International Student Employer of the Year is SAMAF Accountants and Consultants. SAMAF was established by two former international students and it now employs 10 former international students.
The Territory Labor Government supports international students in the Territory by providing professional development, grants, wellbeing and awards programs.
This assists to promote the Northern Territory as the destination of choice for international students and ensures they have a great experience while studying here.
The Student of the Year Awards program provides international students an opportunity to be recognised and celebrated for academic success and community mindedness.
