Police appeal for witnesses after ramming in Eltham

Banyule Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a police vehicle was allegedly rammed in Eltham on Friday.

It is alleged a yellow Ford Sedan was driving erratically through Yallambie and Lower Plenty about 3pm before ramming a police vehicle in Overbank Road, Eltham about 3.30pm.

A 27-year-old Pakenham man has been arrested in relation to the alleged incident.

He has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life and aggravated reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving and will appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 3 July.
