Castlereagh Hwy is currently closed to all traffic in both directions between Hebel and Dirranbandi (Queensland) due to flooding. This closure is expected to be in place for at least 48 hours.
Operators are advised to use Newell Hwy or Carnarvon Hwy to access Queensland until Castlereagh Hwy is reopened.
Operators are asked to avoid the area, and reminded to never drive through flood water.
