Appeal to locate man missing from Sydney’s South West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s South West.

Jason Kemp, aged 38, was last seen at an address on the Hume Highway, Yagoona, about 1pm on Saturday 29 July 2023.

When he could not be located and concerns were raised for his welfare, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified on Thursday 3 August 2023 and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Jason is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 170cm tall with slim build, short black hair and a short beard; he also has a flame tattoo on his lower right arm.

He was last seen wearing a brown hoodie and black shorts, and black and white shoes with red trim.

Jason is known to frequent the Redfern, Waterloo and Wollongong areas.
